Encouragement
The God that we profess is real. He really cares and He really hears us when we pray. And, He really answers.
He is involved in the details of our life and wants us to come to Him with everything.
When you feel overwhelmed by the giants we face around us, LOOK UP! God is greater. He's the One who created us, our planet, and the galaxies. The things we ask Him for are not too difficult for Him. But He chooses to work through faith. That's what He uses to move mountains and slay giants. That's how we need to pray.
Remind yourself of the truths in God's Word - lest you be tempted to believe that the Courts, the legislatures, the media, and the problems you face are somehow bigger or more powerful than the God we serve.
Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise. He is for us. He has proven that. Nail-scarred hands are a pretty good reminder. Keep that in mind as you approach His throne as His child. He's a good Father. He wants what's best even more than you do. And He's able to do it.
So, Look up! Then watch and see what He can do!
